"Costumes" (saddle/harness/...) for mounts?

I'm not long in ESO, so I would like to ask: was it ever questioned to get "costumes" for mounts, that would allow to chose between a variety of different saddles/harnesses/...?

Not AFAIK - though I only know from June 2018 when I started playing.

The only close customization to mounts were the Indriks. I honestly don't think the mount profit from the crown store would offer something similar in the future. Simply put, new color new purchase.

The basic horses used to have differently coloured saddle blankets based I think on the characters' faction, but I don't know why they removed them. The only way I can think of to see one of them now is when you go to talk to a guy in a ruin during the Dark Brotherhood questline.

Deliberately vague because spoilers, and absolutely not because I forgot that guy's name.

I really wish they'd bring these blankets back, the saddles look so bad without a blanket underneath them. It simply isn't done to ride without a saddle pad or blanket

To time consuming to go backwards, but how about additional toggles for future mounts. I can see this

I would like to see guild heraldry in the way of banners we could display while on mount. I would also like to see barding and heraldry for mounts. Could be player guild, fighters, mages guilds and maybe special heraldry and barding associated with a few of the titles.
With all the different types of mounts in might be overly daunting though.

I'm still waiting for mounts that don't have a saddle and bridle on them for in your houses. I would never leave a horse tacked up in the stables, and it makes me so sad every time I see them that I don't even put mounts in my houses anymore.

I would PAY to be able to dye parts of my mounts.
Unfortunately I doubt that would ever happen.
Most mounts are pretty much the same but retextured and sold for full price from one another, like the white gold horse and the other version I forgot its name, it's the same mount, but one is white with green seat, the other one is yellow with gold seat. If I could dye my horse, I wouldn't buy the retextured version and instead just paint my own.

Of course they could limit it to the upgraded bits from training them, that would be cool.
But again, I doubt that would happen, they'll just sell us retextured versions instead.
And part of me is ok with that as well, as long as we get more imperial versions of mounts.
