Just curious as I haven't obtained any. Are there any Mythic Weapons? Would be a nice addition if so imo.

There aren't any mythic weapons as of yet. This is likely do to barswapping either enabling you to have multiple mythics or because swapping away from your mythic would allow you to bypass the negative effect mythics usually provide.
We do have Arena weapons though, so I don't think we even need mythic weapons.
This Bosmer was tortured to death. There is nothing left to be done.

There's probably not ever going to be mythic weapons, because that would restrict what kind of setup/build you could use it with, and the game is all about choice. By making mythics usable with any weapon setup, they give players freedom of choice in how to utilize them.
    @Djennku, PCNA.

Grand Master crafter, all styles and all furnishing plans known pre U41.
Vamp and WW bites available for players.
Shoot me an in-game mail if you need anything, happy to help!

I don't see how mythics would be any different to ability altering weapons like the maelstrom staff. It would be very cool to have unique mythical weapons.

I think the trial weapons are essentially the equivalent of mythic weapons. It would be kind of interesting to use your antiquarian skill to assemble unperfected versions of trail weapons.

Would a mythic weapon have a higher damage value than a gold out weapon? If that is the case it would cause further imbalance in the game.

If so then some detrimental effect to counter it as in most mythic items. Personally I'd like to be able to turn my opponent into a frog or something in PVP with one.

In technical terms, there's no difference between arena and mythic weapons.
In category terms, mythic weapons would never be a thing because you could bar swap a mythic weapon and have a mythic piece of armor/jewelry... It's technically tedious to handle, It could be possible assuming that a weapon is equipped and it checks for the rest of your equipment, but what could a mythic weapon offer that an arena weapon doesn't in terms of having mythic weapons?
There's a ring that buffs your light attacks and spawns a minotaur, you don't need a weapon for that.
There's a sword and shield set that pulls all enemies close to you when you do power slam, it's a cool effect and it's a weapon set that can be equipped along mythic pieces of armor.
There's really no point on mythic weapons, especially since you can swap them out in combat, you'd just end up nerfing yourself in a sense you'd be forced to play only 1 bar (and there is already a mythic item for that).

I'd rather get more arena weapon variations sets that simply don't follow the mythic category. Maybe not even obtained via arena but other activities, like card game rewards, or excavations.
Maybe a version of sword and shield where power slam finally does AoE on gathering stacks (but I'd rather have that be the base skill morph)

You can also get unique pieces of equipment from dungeons, like knight-errant's shield has a variation called shield of the black death.

Cue High Isle. There's a mythic preventing bar swap there, albeit it's a ring, not a weapon.

I thought I did mention the ring. But still, what's the point of making a mythic weapon that's only active when you have it equipped instead of making it an arena type weapon which pretty much could do the same without locking you out of mythic and monster sets? If it's a mythic weapon that alters a skill, that would be cool, but arena weapons do the same, if it's a mythic weapon that grants you a special type of buff, armor and jewelry sets already do that as well.
More arena type of weapons would be cool if they'd offer alternatives to altering skills, like I mentioned, a power slam weapon that deals in AoE (but I'd rather that be a skill morph instead). I just don't see the point on mythic weapons.
