Companions Causing Dungeon Group Queue to Bug?

Recently my friends and I (a group of 3) have noticed that whenever we queue for a dungeon we run into issues where some of us don't get ported into the instance makes the others in the group appear as if they have gone offline. We are able to open our friends list and then port to each other even though is says in the group menu that some are "offline".

The few times one of us does make it into the dungeon in this situation, we notice that the random usually has a companion out. Im wondering if others have encountered this issue and if you also noticed a companion upon entering or you yourself were adventuring with a companion when queueing and noticed your group didn't enter the dungeon right away.

This happens all the time to my husband and his regular dungeon peeps and none of them use companions, so no, it is probably not due to companions. 8)

It is a whole mess and there are some very troublesome bugs with group finder. The worst being the instant kick out of instance bug.

FYI for those who get this bug, your best bet is to do the following:
1. Port into dungeon
2. When you’re there, you have a very short amount of time to take action before being kicked out.
3. Click leave group and then have your group reinv you while you’re in the process of being kicked out of instance.

This and a few similar actions seem to help unbug your account.

Also yes it does appear that companions can cause separate issues too. If you port into a dungeon and activate your companion, an unlucky group member is likely to be kicked out of the dungeon.
