Can I store items in a house like in the bank? Or does it take up bank slots?
And are they available in all houses, or I have to go the the house where the storage container is...(which makes sense)
There are 8 chests, 4 large and 4 small, that offer something like 60 and 30 storage slots. They can be place in any and all homes but they are the same chests. You can buy them from the crown store or via master writ vouchers and probably from players for gold.
These are separate from our banks.
The free one mentioned below is a small chest. It may already be in your collections somewhere.
Can't buy them with gold, but everything else is correct.
The large ones cost 200 writ vouchers and the small ones - 100. In total you can get 360 slots for 1200 writs. Perfect for storing furnishings, since you can use them in houses without taking them out of chests.
As others have noted, there are storage chests you buy to place some items in your house. Also, and this is rather obvious, your home can be used to store extra furniture you don't want simply by placing it. The limit depends only on the number of items you can place in that size house. Seems rather obvious but I didn't think to make a junk house right off the bat as I was mostly concerned with making it look nice lol
