Soooooo....for the longest time I didn't realize that in the very lower portions of Howling Sepulcher, (where you get a "book" stone lore to pick up) and just across the river and up is this tinsy little wolfie called RUNT...and you can "save" him from the Harpie (if they are up and haven't been killed)....ZOS you need to make it an Achievable pet by SAVING little RUNT from the nasty HARPY and then having him to love and hold as your non-combat pet FOREVER. I DEMAND THIS!!!! please :P

That's only part one to the encounter.

After saving the wolf pup you lead it up the river keeping it safe along the way. At the end is a named Wolf with one or two other pups. You just found the pup's Mother. Reuniting them has the Mother dig up a chest for you.

Unfortunately every time I've done this the chest bugs and doesn't give you anything.

Yes, that was an amazing little gem! I wish they'd do lots more of this sort of thing.

Howling Sepulchers remains one of my favourite delves.

So I DID NOT know this, because it must have been bugging for me. After I brought a third Charcter into Howling Seplucher, finally did I see the rambunctious little Runt run towards the river path. I helped him get to his mother and I am so happy!!! Still want little Runt for a pet though :P

Basically I am doing some very old Prologue quests on Knives and Long Shadows and after 2 or 3 characters I saw Runt but he stayed still after I stayed him and never moved. On my 3rd or 4th character (can't remember been bouncing around) finally after a save did he run down the river path needing help killing more Harpies and you take him to his mother SHAYLA and two siblings...so beautiful! I love it!

I think you have to go through the many times till it works. I tried a few times on each character and it eventually does what it is suppose to do. HOWEVER, I have noticed despite my many characters going through and BACK through, that SHAYLA the wolf mother, at the end gives you a CHEST to pick up. But I either DON'T GET a chest spawn OR the chest once clicking on, just OPENS real fast then closes, opens real quick then closes, NO LOOT to be gathered, NO MATTER how many characters I BRING through.....this is the most major bug of this mini quest(not quest) in Howling Sepulcher....@ZOS_GinaBruno maybe not the correct person to tag but I will not make a bug report via appropriate sections

Thank you @Crimsonwolf666 for that info and feedback. Very disappointing if the reward is not given for the mini quest.
