Is there a simple add-on which groups weapons, armour etc into sets.
I've been using Auto Category - Revised, but discovered recently that it just hides things in my inventories, obviously I've got a setting wrong somewhere, but its overly complicated for what I want.

AutoCategory is the addon to use if you want groups/categories.
If sorting would be sufficient for you try this:
