Mirri Quest Bug - Dead Weight: can't grab chicken (PS-NA)

Finally got the next part of Mirri's personal quest, Dead Weight and there's a part to go to Vukhel Guard and you have to catch a chicken to give to an apprentice to progress the quest. When I go to the area where the quest is, the quest marker appears above the chicken, I chase it to where I am supposed to be able to pick it up (I checked people's youtube videos for the quest to check I wasn't missing anything) but no prompt to "grab" it appears. It just sits there with the quest marker above its head.

I've tried abandoning the quest and redoing it and it just gets to the same point without being able to progress. I've also tried desummoning and resummoning Mirri but that didn't help either. The quest is completely broken and I'm now unable to complete Mirri's questline.

I have submitted a ticket through the Feedback/Bug and also the get help opton under the quest menu (because the Feedback/Bug one is very confusing because it says feedback won't be replied to but bugs will, but then when I submitted it as a bug it said it was feedback and wouldn't be replied to and I need a response).

    Please god please fix your customer service. I got an autoreply asking for more information on the quest issue to the quest help I submitted in game, sent exactly the issue I was having and instead of a human being helping me out I got a canned response sending me a link to an unofficial wiki quest page, like that is magically going to fix me having a problem with a quest prompt not showing up on my playstation.

    I just want to be able to complete this companion's quest so I can finally max out this incredibly tedious rapport grind.

    Did you ever get a resolution to this. I’m having the very same issues

    Also bumped into the same issue on PC EU. Couldn't progress the quest because I couldnt grab the chicken, no prompt. But what helped was turning off addons and teleporting to some different place then back to Vulkhel Guard.

    It worked fine for me, and I did that quest only about a week ago. I failed to grab the chicken on the first try, though.

    I had the same problem on PC. Delete and retake the quest. For me the 3rd try works.
