Armory and Lycanthropy

Equipping a build made prior to building up/gaining the lycanthropy curse or skilling will *entirely remove said curse and skilline*.

This cannot be intended behavior, especially as ZOS charges crowns for "bites", to take advantage of the rarity of wild-caught lycanthropy.

Please take a look at it (and restore my curse! I was having fun!)

It is intended, they also charge to cure the curse.

On the flip side, the armory saves the curse, so if you save a slot with it equipped, you can reequip it and get it back.

You can get bitten in zone chat and be right back where you left off.

As noted above... you can save your Lycanthropy build in an armory so it's always there... and have another armory without it, so you can switch back and forth. Also, once you level a vampire or werewolf skill line, it will always be that level when you re-acquire vampirism or lycanthropy.

As mentioned it is deliberate, it also tells you that equiping the build will remove any curse etc

I have one slot vamp the other werewolf, plus another ww, if your on Xbox NA I gladly bite

Yup, if you're in a rush and you accidentally load a blank template without saving yours first it will indeed wipe everything, but it's working as intended.
The only thing they could do really would be to add a big red warning step but people in a hurry would probably ignore that as well... people gonna people.
Also, most people are happy to give bites for free, so don't be shy!
If you're on PC have bites on both servers, holla if you need!

That is the best part about armory, free curse-uncurse, and with no quests and no asking for bite.

I got 3 slots,a WW one,a vamp one,and a clear all one for now.Can easily swap between WW and vamp,and it clears stages back to stage 1 when swapping.

I mean, ok, fair, but I have to manually type DESTROY to get rid of a brochure, and a misclick can not just "cure" me, but *removes the skill line altogether*.

That's terrible design.

I agree with this ^^ half my trash i need to manually "D E S T R O Y" annoyingly 15x a day but armory simple click and bam you need to pay for a skilline again if your not brutally careful!!

I like and dislike the way armory works.. its amazing that you can save any build and it works but.. I'm beginning to feel the confusing nature of it as well particularly with the CP setups. Mine are turning into a mess with cp settings all over the place and I feel like the armory is becoming more of a chore to tidy up far too often than any time its actually saving me, nearly to the point of not wanting to use it at all.

IMO we need 2 things badly with it.

1. save build button safely out of the way so not to accidentaly hit it with a confirmation dialog.

2. more save options during saving like abilities only, cp only. gear only or ALL... sort of thing.
