Why did Ardent Hope get changed to Hope's Hero?

Was it just because Ardent Hope was the coolest title in the game and you just got it from completing some rando quest so they had to make it lamer? C'mon.

What?!!!! Why?!!!!! This completely sucks! My DK tank is called Ardent Flame, and I especially did the lame quest so she could have the title of Ardent Flame, which is cool. Hope's Hero is just LAME.
Retrospective changes like this are unfair. Change it back!

Agreed. Can't see a reason why they'd change this. Why not change it back, ZOS, yeah?

Summons never seem to work for busy people, but @ZOS_GinaBruno are you able to give a reason why or get someone to elaborate on this? Retroactive changes really aren't a great idea, especially when people feel strongly about anything related to their avatar in Tamriel

The crazy thing to me about this is there are dozens of highly requested changes that ZoS ignores and says, "We don't like changing things after the fact because some people might like them as they are." Then here's this otherwise completely irrelevant thing that serves no other purpose than to be a badge for RP players and it's somehow so important to change that it doesn't matter if people liked it the way it was. Completely bizarre to me.

You probably had it right. Ardent Hope sounds like it actually required doing something challenging as opposed to completing some random overland quest. Hero titles are commonly rewarded for the latter, so it makes sense thematically. But I agree it makes little sense to change it after it has already been a selling point.

In that case make one of the next VDLC dungeon titles be Ardent Hope, I'm okay with that.
