I don't think that there is much lore precedent from earlier TES games for the way that the Nightblade Magicka kit is currently presented so tying it back to Nocturnal would be a rather elegant solution to it.

As for Nocturnal herself, I liked her a lot more in other games where she was mysterious and intimidating; Summerset kind of ruined her reputation for me.

Yeah, Nightblades to me look like a vampire filler with the visual effects aka Blood/Black instead of the true shadow magic Purple/Black.
Also have not done summerset yet but I'll prob still like it since daedric.

Oh definitely, it is a great chapter, the best to date actually. I was just speaking to how they portrayed Nocturnal there.
