DLC Dungeon trend

Am I the only one who dislikes the new (not new now) trend of DLC Dungeons, 3 main bosses and 3 optional 'secret' bosses, it just feels lazy and the same to me everytime. It's not exciting, yeah it was amazing the first time I discovered an optional boss hidden away, but in most dungeons since is just boring 🙄

Once the mechanic was new, in Unhollowed Grave, everyone loved it and was excited about it.
I too did like the fresh air this mechanic did bring into the game but after seeing every dlc dungeon now being like this it gets stale.

I prefer this trend because it is creating unique bosses with lots of mechanics. In a five boss dungeon like Cauldron you literally nuke down the first three bosses and skip everything.

Dungeons have been stale for years.

ZoS just wants a formula to slap a couple DLCs out a year with a structured amount of work.

They came up with the 3 secret bosses thing and the problem was - they discovered the community liked something, but they didn't realize what it was they liked. ZoS thought it was a new formula they discovered. But what is really was is variety.

So yea, just rehashing the same stuff every dungeons DLC isn't gonna cut it, even if it's new rehash. The only formula is - do something fresh every time you are selling us stuff.

Creating 6 boss fights is hardly lazy as long as they have good mechanics. I also like that we can fast track dungeons as some if the DLC dungeons are rather long.

So most important is well designed fights and a story that makes sense.
