Why do houses release at 1PM EDT? Why not 10?

I'm usually done with all my daily stuff and am off playing other games by 1.. Why not just have new crown stuff release at the same time each day?
If its because of the Free Play event, why not just move it to Thursday?

Its not the time, its the consistency. They can release at 12EDT or 5AM EST I don't care. Just make it all release at the same time each day.

The availablity time is always mentioned in the Crown Store Showcase articles. It's always been a consistent 10am EDT for a Crown Store refresh, but sometimes there are 3 hour delays if ZOS had planned something for a specific date.

Yeah, the only other time I can remember a house releasing at 1pm, it was also on a Wednesday.
But almost always, it IS 10am on Thursday.

OP is over-reacting to a rare occurrence.
