I sold an Aetherial dust this morning and it is not showing in my sales, even though it is showing items that sold hours later. This of course makes my sales look like a lot less than they really are. Is this a known bug and is there any way to fix this?
The most likely reason why this happened is because of how the data of what was sold is collected.
ATT and MM both pull data from your guild's sale history in order to see who sold what for how much. If you are in a guild with a lot of sales, this data set is massive, and the addon must take its time to pull all of the data. If the addon calls the servers too quickly, then the user will be kicked for spamming, as the addon reaches the rate limit. If you wish to bypass this time restriction and make it register all the items immediately, you can go into your guild's history tab, switch down to the guild sales, then manually load more data with the keybind or button until your sale is recorded.
TLDR:
As you normally play, it will slowly update all the info from when you were offline. If you wish to force it to update immediately, click the load more data button in the Guild Sale History.
for the popup with ATT, ive always noticed it able to refresh the list usually upon changing characters
it probably also has to do with the other reason mentioned, huge amounts of data (im in 5 trade guilds of moderate volume), so i do usually see the sales show up in the popup after awhile without changing toons, but its likely because its trying to process sales data still
i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
if im changing quickly, it doesnt for sure, its probably just the huge amount of data its processing
sometimes i have noticed it take upwards of an hour or 2 of being online to actually see all of the processing, its definitely more noticeable if its the first time you logged in for the day because its processing all of the sales data between the time of last logout and time of login (which could be between 12 and 24 hours worth of sales data)
