Bug? Anniversary Boxes with Transmute Crystals won't disappear

Seeing an issue where if an Anniversary Boxes rewards a transmute crystal, I get the crystal(s) but the box stays in my bag?
Twice now on 2 sep characters I've had this happen.
I checked my currencies and I do def get the crystal awarded, but I'm stuck with an empty(I hope?) box that I'd have to destroy to purge it.

Anyone else seeing this?

Lazy Writ addon bug, already mentioned, update addon or disable it.

First thing when you encounter bug like that should be to disable addon that may affect it, especially after small update.

Only when maxed out on transmutes, then the box doesn't open because there is one left in it and it won't allow you to go over the limit.

This is wrong. I am at 22/1000 Transmute crystals and have one Anniversary box which does not open

Same problem or similar one—on my new account, I am nowhere near maxed out on crystals, in fact I have only 188, but the crystals (3) remain in the reward box instead of being deposited to my currency. I’ve tried multiple times to empty the box, but can’t.

Not wrong, it just happened to me, I was at 996 transmutes, I hit 1000 and I even got a message that the box wouldn't open because I was full on transmutes. Not saying you aren't having a different issue, but what I said is true.

Maybe you have a duplicate treasure map or something, or maybe it is just bugged, which is highly likely of late.

I don't have this, but I've heard my guildies do.

It's not a ZOS bug. It's an addon bug. Turn off LazyWritCrafter (or at least its autoloot) until the addon dev fixes it.

This was an addon issue. Update to the addon was pushed through in short order by both the developer of the addon and ZoS approving the fix to be available.

@Dexter411 's suggestion was correct (TY!), it was LWC. Quick update and am able to loot the boxes, yay!

It is bugged, I have boxes on several characters that won't open and am nowhere near the cap for transmutes.

Same problem. Here is my solution. Just turn off Auto loot ;-D

I had this problem as well but @Dolgubon updated Lazy Writ Crafter at the speed of lightning yesterday and looting Anniversary boxes is working after the update to the add-on. Many thanks

I updated the addon and was still having the problem with transmutes yesterday. I haven't checked yet today, though.

For me the problems instantly went away after updating the addon and then loading the next character.

After the April joke shenanigans, people still use Lazy Writ Crafter? When I previously read in guild chats how the addon also prevented items from getting listed, I'm a bit puzzled why this addon is still being trusted. The creator doesn't seem to take their responsibility at heart. Whenever there is an issue, it's important to disable your addons first.
