WHY do some bosses take ages to respawn?!?

Doing "Death to the crone" quest in Vlastarus, Cyrodiil and this quest makes me lose my will to live! WHY does it take 15 minutes for Barasatii (the boss) to spawn?? 15-15 DAMN MINUTES!!! I want to play the game instead of rotting away in a delve! And WHY do I have to wait 5 minutes for a boss to spawn in a Cyrodiil delve when I haven't even done the delve before on a new character? It's such a waste of player time to stand there and wait! Do you want to know HOW I know? I had 55 minutes on XP scroll buff and 40 minutes left when it spawned!

Wow, you would have really hated the MMO's back in the day, bosses spawned a couple times a day, once an hour at most... maybe. 15 minutes, that's nothing.
BTW, you must have been there before, because Cyro delve bosses work just like any other, insta spawn if someone new is there.

RisenEclipse✭✭✭✭✭I'm pretty sure bosses in delves in Cyrodiil will refuse to spawn until whichever boss is up in the delve is killed. I'd run around and see which boss is up (there's multiple in a Cyro delve) and kill it to make another one spawn. But Cyro bosses do not have the mechanic other zones have where if you have never killed that delve boss before, it immediately spawns.Edited by RisenEclipse on April 8, 2022 3:44AM2 -

Soooo...I should just accept wasting my time waiting on the same spot for 15 minutes so I don't miss out on it spawning? And there's a reason why those MMO's are a thing of the past.0 -

Yes they do spawn instantly for players who have never been there before. My guild does a weekly run and the boss spawns instantly alsmost every time due to first timers. Also, both bosses can be up at once, as a matter of fact they both generally spawn at the same time.1 -

The reason those MMORPGs are a thing of the past is newer games come out and people move on.
I have been here less than a year and have all the delve bosses in Cyrodiil cleared. I did have to wait, going around killing other NPCs in the dungeon, until some bosses spawned but in general it did not seem too bad. If it is taking too long then move on and do something else.
I am not suggesting Zenimax should not look into this. I am suggesting those bosses will probably spawn hundreds, if not thousands of times, before anything about them changes.0 -

It's just such a waste of gaming time to just stand there like an idiot, waiting for a boss to spawn. Clearing a zone as big as Cyrodiil should take about 4-5 hours but is taking 10-12 hours instead with the wait times.0 -

I'm just repeating what a bunch of online guides are saying, that I followed when I competed the delve achievement. Honestly Cyro is such a glitched zone, who the hell knows what is supposed to happen in there...1 -

Barasatii (delve boss) has always taken 15 minutes to respawn. I have no idea why ZOS hasn't fixed this because people (me included) have been whining about this for years.1 -

Barasatii (delve boss) has always taken 15 minutes to respawn. I have no idea why ZOS hasn't fixed this because people (me included) have been whining about this for years.
Well they probably went the other way, as all bosses (except maybe that one?) used to spawn within mere minutes or were up when you entered. Then about a year ago they upped the timer and disallowed them spawning if no one was in the delve, so if you had ever been there before, you now get the full wait time on all of them. The timer starts when you enter the delve now I believe.
It has caused so many issues in Cyro it is stupid. You used to be able to jump in, get a buff and jump out,. Now it is jump in, wait 10 minutes (minimum), get the buff, and good luck jumping out, because your spot in Cyro has been given away and you can't leave the delve due to the zone being pop-locked and you are back in the queue, even though the queue doesn't show. So 20 door clicks and failed ports later, you may get lucky and re-enter Cyro proper.

✭Delve bosses in cyrodiil take 5 minutes to spawn, -if- you are the first player in the instance. If you join the delve and someone killed the boss already, then you have to wait for indeed 15 (I think it's even 20) minutes.
I will just leave the cave again, should I see someone passing me and solve another quest first.0 -

This is the way before U33. There are multiple bosses in the Cyrodiil delves and it is RNG as to which one will be up. Only one will be up at any given time.
If you wait more than 5 minutes check a guide and see if one of the others are already up.
