You can buy replicas of cakes from 2016 to 2022 from the Impresario for 3 event tickets if this is what you are after.

Never mind. Seems the option is only available for the cakes that you already have.

the problem i have with the cake furnishings is that they cost freaking event tickets, like its already hard enough to get other collectibles with the normal allotment

combination of the 12 ticket cap, too high of ticket cost of items makes it really hard to get too much from the event vendor

i dont see why event vendor stuff cant be bought for gold, its not like you can access event vendor outside of the event anyway, and all of the stuff in it is bound

It's most certainly a cash grab, whether you buy the event tickets with crowns, or you buy crowns from another player with gold. I would have all cakes in my house if they didnt cost tickets, but I generally push back when they try to hide the cost of things. Cash>Crowns>Tickets. They do it so you dont think about the actual cost.

idk. I look at it as a choice since not everyone wants the various things specific to this year's reward progressions. That and the cakes are available every year. So there is no need for anyone to buy tickets.

Oh, and it is also choice to participate in the events or not. Nothing related to the events is important. It is just fluff for those who want it.

But that's exactly why its a cash grab. You put a hard limit on the amount of items you can obtain without paying cash, and give more options of things to obtain than you can possible get through normal means. Thus, if you want it all, you pay cash.

Don't get me wrong, you can certainly make a choice, but for people that want to collect it all, cash is the only option. It also requires you to convert your cash twice, buy crowns then buy tickets. That is all done to obfuscate how much you are actually spending. Even if you buy crowns with gold from another player, cash is still received by ZOS, because someone had to buy crowns.
