Main hand weapon constantly invisible

This has not been an issue for some time for me, but after the last patch it is happening several times during a session. The main hand weapon is missing from the characters hands and is laying on the ground under the characters feet. It occurs after traveling or going through a door and has severely impacted my enjoyment of the game especially when I need to stop a few times during a dungeon to un-equip and re-equip the main hand weapon. Can someone please get these bugs worked out?

I attached some pictures showing the main hand weapon on the ground under the character as their hands are empty.

Main hand is a greatsword and back up is dual wield. All weapons polymorphed.

good luck, it's chronic and never permanently resolved; what I do is keep my front bar up when I change zones or enter instances, that seems to solve it.

Thanks for the info. I have tried that, but it still seems to occur occasionally. Getting fed up with it.

I had the same problem. I installed an addon called 'Crutch' and that seemed to solve the problem for a bit but came back after awhile. I then accidently found out that the error might be caused after by switching to a new costume... in that after switching weapon types, switching out of the costume I had applied and then putting it back solved the problem. Not sure if this is the cause but it worked for me... so far.

This bug is occurring more often now it seems. It occurred several times last night and really is becoming an issue. This must be addressed and fixed. Thank you. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin

Pick "Hide Polymorph Helmet" in options, fixes this issue for me on PS4. Haven't seen this yet on PS5.

I just read all of the most recent PTS notes and I am still confused as to how the annoying invisible weapon bug is not even mentioned? Friends and I all encounter invisible weapons, so it must be a larger bug and it should be addressed. I appreciate all that you both do and all of the great new features coming, but I would prefer to not have invisible weapons over selecting selecting title screen music. Also I noticed that some descriptions are fixed under crafting, but no mention of the invisible item screen when upgrading items, which also has been mentioned in the bug forum. The fun of the game is ruined when I need to stop every 5-10 minutes to un-equip and re-equip weapons to get them back.

Again, please acknowledge and fix the invisible weapon issues and the upgrading items screen bugs. People pay a lot of money for expansions, crowns and ESO+, so it is not asking for much to fix known annoying issues instead of maybe some less important new features.

This bug is still completely ignored. ZOS, why wont you acknowledge and fix this annoying bug? It completely ruins the flow and enjoyment of the game and apparently you are okay with that.

    Again, please fix this bug.

    Thanks

Did you try my suggestion? Switch out of the custom costume you're wearing to your default armor costume and see if that clears up the weapon problem. If it does, then switch back to your custom costume. This worked for me (along with the addon 'Clutch" which I got from ESOUI Addon site).

It might be that the weapons are coded to be more relegated to default armor costumes than they are custom costumes. Just a thought.
