Hide Helmet Quick Slot

This is probably a silly request. But I might as well try. I would like to be able to hide my helmet in cities or towns without having to constantly pull up the collections menu every time. It's just a small thing that I would like to do for my own immersion. I know there is a quick slot option, but it does not work. You put that thing on your quick slot bar and can slam that Q button as many times as you want, and it won't do anything. Is this a bug, or was it just never intended to be on the quick slot menu?

It works fine for me I think, i used to use it when i was bored fishing. I'd have hide helmet, a hat and a couple of different hairstyles all slotted.

Hmmm... Maybe it's bugged for me then. I'll submit a ticket then.

For me, I’m thinking that putting it on my quick bar let me use it to make my helmet disappear, but using it again doesn’t bring it back. And, when antiquities came along I needed that quick bar slot. But I’m not at home now so I can’t test this to make sure I’m telling you right. I’ll try it later 🙂

I know it worked for me for both 'hiding' and 'unhiding' the helm, although I haven't needed to use the quickslot in quite some time since I typically use AlphaStyle to create and switch outfits. So perhaps OP could use this addon and create one for 'with helm' and one 'without' helm and just create a keybind to use to switch between both. I typically use AlphaStyle with AlphaGear so when I switch my outfits it also switches gear.

I've had my tank set up this way for a long time. I just checked and it is still working fine.

From the inventory menu, select quick slots. From the appearance slottables, select 'Hide your Helm'. Tapping that quickslot hides the helm. Tapping it again brings the helm back. Still working fine for me.

It could also be lag hitting him. I noticed a couple of times different actions are delayed so I hit them again causing me to cancel the action I meant to make. Things like summoning companion/banker, mounting, and costume changes. I realized that I just had to tap it and wait to make sure, and things starting working again.
