Maintenance on a Friday Night, Why?

What happened?

To try to fix issues people were having. Lots of kicks, absurdly long load screens, etc. Many could not login. Didn't impact all, but enough that they had to do maintenance to fix it.

It s a good thing they changed to AWA to improve the performance.

Thanks for info. So nothing was fixed then? Event and Weekend the servers cant keep up, hope they fix this soon as the gaming community is a fickle bunch.

Yeah, and a good thing they fixed that hardware issue a few days ago! Imagine how bad it would be without those two things.

EU was perfectly fine today, even from Texas, USA. My guess would be some failing hardware and very little "extra" capacity elsewhere.

You know, it means a lot to me that they are working on this late on a weekend. It goes a long way to make me less frustrated.

Yeah that is really cool! I didn’t think about that! I usually am more supportive of ZOS when things don’t go right because it’s not like they intentionally try to make the game difficult to play. Their good intentions have run into a little hiccups but it will all work out in the end when things are faster and the graphics will look better too.

That being said, I’m on Google Stadia and I wish it was at least 45 FPS and not 30 FPS
