Endless character loading screens

yea. 8pm hits and everything grinds to a halt. then everything gets better at 10 when most people give up.

Just got booted from game while in Cyro. Took 5 min to re-log in and has been loading into Vvardenfell the past 10 min.

Well, I am not going to waste my Friday night trying to log into the game. Wasted 90 min dealing with login issues last night before calling it a night.

Yeah boy. Guess they didn’t resolve the problem at all. Patch manifest error, no internet connection, already logged in, no internet connection. Get to character screen and just waiting for it to time out.

Really guys. Self resolved doesn’t mean you fixed it it probably means people stopped trying to login. This is really getting old.

So yes, we expect to see a spike of west coast players around this time, but given the precision with which it occurs, if it were me trying to fix this I would see if there was a scheduled backup or some other recurring process on the server set to trigger at 8 eastern. It feels too regular to simply be a spike in traffic

At least I got the event daily done and tickets. But this is gotten too damn old.

I'm done, going to go play a game that ACTUALLY WORKS.
Maybe cancel my sub while I'm at it.
Getting really tired of this company wasting my time and money as a customer.

Hey ZOS. Have you tried checking for a rogue scheduled task that's running on the servers starting at 0000 UTC? This crap seems to be happening the same time every day!!!

yesterday it took me 45 minutes to login (2 15 minute queues and numerous failed login attempts)

already been trying to login now for almost 10 minutes

What’s kind of funny is that my client timed with no activity while waiting for character load. I guess I should have moved my mouse around.

Agreed. I love it too, but this is getting way old.

And likely one of the on-call server admins will get an alert, set their beer down, go log in and restart services.
It will start working again in an hour or so.

Then tomorrow the same thing will happen again.

wtf. why won't this company just let me play this game in peace?
I get a login queue. But the queue is NOT to enter the game. The queue is to wait ... until you get to the point it disconnects you.

any word on a fix for this? this is crazy to have this problem during an event that you have to travel to different locations with load screens. WTF ZOS???

I was just booted from game, now can't log back in for a variety of reasons ; unstable connection to game server, already logged in or infinite load screens.

Got a bad feeling the 9:30 raid I planned isn't going to have anyone able to log in. So far I have been having trouble both getting in and porting. Maybe 2 min of the last half hour have been in game. The rest is surfing the web while in loading screens and now complaining here about it. Heck of an update.

Now I am getting this and can't even get past the launcher. I let it repair once then it started the same thing all over again.

this fix is to just wait it out until there's less people on. that's what happened yesterday
