Seems like the new DLC is a revised area of Summerset, even the new crown crates don't even reflect the medieval persona of the Bretons. Still disappointed in ESO creativity of bringing out new content.

Something else weird: on my map Betnikh is gigantic, but Stros M’kai is the same as it ever was, same as it ever was.

And then there’s two tiny islands about where Stirk used to be.

The next season of crates which will be launching around the same time as the chapter are called 'Dark Chivalry Crates'. Sounds pretty thematically medieval to me.

Aside from the cliff face rocks being similarly pale, due to their proximity. They are not much alike, in all the images of high isle we have seen there isn't an asset from Summerset, or anything that looks much like Summerset.

Does this look anything like a city in Summerset to you?

Yeah these crates are based on the dungeon DLC not the chapter. Breton themed crates are coming

I mean we didn't exactly get a dungeon with the coral themes of summerset zone. So why wouldn't they reuse those designs? But the beginning two dungeons only jump start the overall year long story. From what I can tell, pirates is also part of the theme, not just Bretons. So that's probably why they went with the more aquatic, pirate, sea faring theme for these dungeons and crown crates that were released near the same time. During the chapter and the next dlc dungeons they'll probably focus on the more Breton part of the theme. The crowncrates that will also be released near the chapter also reflect this.

I absolutely love summerset ambiance, architecture and the lush gardenlike landscape. So I'm really happy with the ponds, and I also like the aquariums. I just don't like crown exclusive furnishings. And I still wish there were more furnishing plans for the summerset architecture, such as walls and roofs. Pillars and floors just isn't enough to properly build houses from

But, as people mention, the breton stuff is coming, probably at the launch of the chapter.

Bingo! This is why I've been crafting and gathering around Alinor since Summerset was launched.

That said, I need a change of scenery, and since I'm a Breton at heart I want to purchase a home in the main city (will do so if crafting and daily writs are efficient). If not, I'll be putting up with the old man's singing forever.

It’s gunna have the same island feel most probs, same types of stone etc as it’s near there but do think it’s gunna have a totally different feel.

I think the architecture of the new city looks more like Leyawiin, which doesn’t change your argument’s core really…

Like stone castle buildings with orange roofs? Couldn’t change it up a bit!
