Synergies Won't go Away

As per title, this has happened to me in trials since the update, as well as to others in my groups.
A certain synergy won't disappear, even when out of combat. It pops up every second, disappears after activating (which does nothing), only to re-appear again a second later. If you don't activate it, it will stay there indefinitely. I've had it with Healing Combustion, Grave Robber, and Purify, so doesn't seem to be any one in particular.
Reloading UI doesn't work, nor does leaving the instance. The only way to get rid of it is to completely exit the game, which is obviously a problem mid-raid.
It doesn't seem to block other synergies, but it is very annoying.
