I can't get the patch downloaded.

f you get an error stating "Error 1032 - OSError_Locked", follow the process below:

Close the ESO Launcher.
Open task manager by pressing [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Esc] together.
Go to Processes.
Right click on ZoCrashReport and end the process.
Restart the ESO Launcher.

The game should now update and patch.

If you are still having issues, you can also look for duplicates of any of the following files in your process tree: "eso.exe," "awesomeium.exe," and "bethesda_launcher.exe" and remove them as well.

From reddit. Restarting PC fixed this problem for a player with the same error.

Another on reddit said they found they had a duplicate instance running when looking in task manager

On steam exiting steam and restarting it also seems to be a cure

Not on steam and I already checked for those processes. Sadly this is not the first time for this.
But to tempt fate I am going to try again right now

I've had the dual instances before so I looked for that first.

JFc I hear back from them and they say the dpi of my screen is not set to their recommended resolution. IS THIS SOME KIND OF JOKE???

Removed the Program Files folder and game now loads but launcher is still throwing errors.

Are you still getting error messages in the ESO Launcher?

If so, what error messages are you currently getting?

I was getting the same errors until this afternoon mainly on EU.
April 7 2022 11:00pm EDT seems to have stopped.

today the play button took several minutes to appear.

and now the same 210 PatchManifestError_DownloadFail is back

I did the troubleshooting steps before I made the original post.

Today on PCNA I experienced login delay (not as long thankfully) and when I logged out the error had popped open over the launcher.

Nothing has changed in my setup since long before Update 33.
The previous patch downloaded perfectly. I suggest you check your update branch and see what happened there.

Thank you for the update. If you've not done so yet, we recommend starting a ticket with customer support.

Than but no. They will just tell me my screen resolution is not at the recommended setting and give me the same link you have.

(PS I'd done that already too and posted here to see if anyone had a real answer)

But I do appreciate your efforts and I know this isn't any fun for you either.
