Jester Festival 2022

No announcement unfortunately, just the question for ZOS when the event will start? Today would have been the most likely date, considering that events usually start on thursday and anniversary event needs to take place directly after Jesters event (so next thursday?). Additionally, Jesters usually includes April 1st and anniversary April 4th, which can't work out with a start on thursday for both events anyway.

So, what's the current plan? Ditch the thursday release and have it start another day (tomorrow and for one week until April 1st?), or have anniversary event start later than April 4th?
Or is the same reason the Explorer's event wasn't extended, to first sort out the problems caused by the latest patch and both events are postponed until the servers are a bit more stable?

Whatever the current plan is, ANY information would be appreciated, even if plans might still change down the road. That's not the improved communication regarding event dates that was promised long ago.

I'm really curious what this will do to the Jubilee event. It has always taken place on or before the anniversary of the game (April 4th) but Jester's now ends on the 7th. I really hope they haven't cut anything out of my favorite event

It will most likely begin the very second that Jester's ends.

You gotta figure they know how unpopular shortening that one would be and arent that silly.

It will be Jesters for a week (so glad it's only a week) and then the anniversary event will follow straight after.

And then hopefully event free for a while

I mean, when asked if they could extend the explorer event, they said they didn't want to extend the event right now because of the server issues, and wanted to have them resolved first. I am assuming that is why the Jester's Festival is not until next week. They don't want to release an event right after the server disaster that happened and potentially cause another. Which I am absolutely fine with. Jester's Festival is only a week long, and I have to do all the achievements for it in that time. I'd rather not have a few days killed because they rushed it and the server hamsters ended up having a heart attack again... So we will probably get the anniversary event right after the Jester one is over. Back to back events!
