But why would it check NA only (or at all)? ESO+ is account wide, not server specific. If NA is down and ESO+ is set to depend exclusively on NA's availability, then it can't be used on EU if that server is still up, as seems to be the case right now. The only check it should be doing is whether account billing is up to date.

That's my point, its been like this from release, it seems like the NA server is the only connection between Steam and EU servers, so when NA down, there is no connection between steam and EU.
When asked Steam, they said they have nothing to do with it and only ZoS can fix it, as far as my steam, I have subscription available ...

Sounds like it's time to stop playing ESO through Steam. Third party middlemen are generally a hassle anyway.

I don't, I play normal client but I can't pay ESO plus directly, I am forced to go through Steam in my area ...
