Leveling Date Bug?

This is a screenshot from an alt I created two (2) months ago. During this time the character has reached lvl 50. However it shows this character as reaching lvl 50 way back on the same exact day as my main, April 19, 2014.
It looks as if these account wide achievements have wiped out any record of what alt’s have done, and have overwritten them with what my main has done. Am I correct in saying that there is no way of knowing when this alt turned lvl 50?
Please tell me this is a glitch. abearvdpijdd.jpg

The account wide achievements are working as intended in this situation. The system moving forward only knows and reports one instance of the achievement for the account. You have a record of when your account reached a milestone, but individual character milestones are generally no longer tracked. The reasoning given was for performance. Perhaps we will see the performance impact at some point and ZOS will direct us back to this moment and mention that this system helped.

Why would I not want to keep track of what my characters are doing or have done?

You'll have to ask ZOS that question. It's not for me to tell you what you do or do not want to track and I have no say in what does get tracked.

Personally, I like the new system because it works for me, but at the same time I can also empathize with those that don't like all the aspects of it.

Sorry. I didn't mean to vent on you. I just don't understand why they would do this to something that has worked perfectly for 8 years. Now I am seeing nothing but problems, and it's very frustrating.
As you can see in the screenshot I have been here a while, and I don't recall anything as bad as this patch.

No worries. I get that the frustrations aren't directed toward me. It's all subjective I suppose. I've been waiting for account wide achievements for 8 years and don't have any issues with the way it works at all currently. ZOS has decided that performance is a priority in this case.

It's possible they are absolutely right over the long term, but we as players don't see the entire picture. We aren't allowed to know what's coming next that this change is required for. Perhaps they needed to streamline the database before more classes or weapons are added? That's a change that many people are asking for and we aren't getting this summer. Perhaps there was prep work required for that and this system was part of that. If that was the case, I would hope ZOS would mention it as it would help perhaps a bit with the anger over the implementation. We're told a generic "performance" from people that we see as not overly capable of handling performance issues, whether that is accurate or not. That's perception.
