It always gets me when people come to threads like this saying "what we have is enough" when clearly it's not for a number of people. There are numerous activities that people can take part in; PvP, trials and dungeons, fishing, social stuff like questing/Skyshard runs/etc, RP, trade guilds, crafting, housing. And there are guilds associated with all these things. If someone is in two RP guilds, a PvP guild, and two trade guilds, then there's no slots for trial progression if that's something they want to do.
I personally have always thought we could do with an extra two or three guild slots. There are hundreds of guilds in the game and all these different activities that five, for a lot of people, isn't quite enough. And for those who don't feel the need for more guilds, well, you wouldn't have to fill them all.
Instead of saying "what we have is enough", people should instead say "I feel that what we have is enough for me". It gives a more accurate picture and isn't a statement that clearly isn't true, seeing as this has come up multiple times over the years. If 5 was indeed universally enough for everyone we wouldn't see these threads pop up at all.
When are we going to have more guild slots?
