How dependent (*cough* addicted) you are when it comes to eso.
I have no internet for the past 12 days. The storm broke everything here in town so no internet phone line and even a while without electricity.
The first 2 days I was like ok no problem but now I am just sooo not happy. I miss my online buddy's and I missed the event and the free circlet and lots.
For a stupid reason discord is not working on my phone at the moment so I can not even send messages to my guild mates.

*sigh* I am going eso cold turkey and I miss it so much.

Anyone else has this when they cant log in for a longer period ;)

Eh, mostly for me it's that I know what I am missing getting done. I'm fine without the game, but when I realize I've missed tickets or I'd made plans to level a new character then I get a little grumbly. But it all smooths out once the hiatus is over.

And it's never been more than a few days (most was 4 I think - when my WildBlue satellite died, they couldn't set up repair for over a week which was totally unacceptable; I called HughesNet and got them out here so internet was back halfway through the fourth day) - two weeks might cause me to be more than "a little grumbly"....

Although I do love gaming and do that non stop since decades - even for my main game - I don't feel the lack when I don't play.
I believe it's because I have several other activities in my life, that makes my heart bouncing as much as gaming does. Thanks to that, when I can't play, for day(s) or week(s), I just swap to another fun and that's no worries at all. :D
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

I actually like this game because it respects your time. It's never overly punishing to take some time off from it.

I think that the biggest thing is not having access to your online pals. Sure, not being able to log in to the game is an inconvenience and you can miss some opportunities, but it's usually cosmetic stuff that you can get later or live without in the first place. For those of us who have developed strong online relationships due to Covid sequestering, it's a significant loss of social contact. ESO is basically like an evening out at the pub with my buddies.

I'm currently without access to ESO, though I did manage to get it for free on Stadia about a month ago or so (had a 10 dollars off my first purchase promo and the base game was on sale for 7 bucks). It's really hard to play on a phone tho because of the clunky, janky overlay for the controller. That being said I miss RP more than anything, since that's mostly what I do in-game these days; trying to RP with the EXTRA clunky chat interface is literally painful, as my left thumb gets sore from constantly reaching across my phone.
    Character List [RP and PvE]:
Stands-Against-Death: Argonian Magplar Healer - Crafter
Krisiel: Redguard Stamsorc DPS - Literally crazy Werewolf, no like legit insane. She nuts
Kiju Veran: Khajiit Stamblade DPS - Ex-Fighters Guild Suthay who likes to punch things, nicknamed Tinykat
Niralae Elsinal: Altmer Stamsorc DPS - Young Altmer with way too much Magicka
Sarah Lacroix: Breton Magsorc DPS - Fledgling Vampire who drinks too much water
Slondor: Nord Tankblade - TESified verson of Slenderman
Marius Vastino: Imperial <insert role here> - Sarah's apathetic sire who likes to monologue
Delthor Rellenar: Dunmer Magknight DPS - Sarah's ex who's a certified psychopath
Lirawyn Calatare: Altmer Magplar Healer - Traveling performer and bard who's 101% vanilla bean
Gondryn Beldeau: Breton Tankplar - Sarah's Mages Guild mentor and certified badass old person
Gwendolyn Jenelle: Breton Magplar Healer - Friendly healer with a coffee addiction
Soliril Larethian- Altmer Magblade DPS - Blind alchemist who uses animals to see and brews plagues in his spare time
Tevril Rallenar: Dunmer Stamcro DPS - Delthor's "special" younger brother who raises small animals as friends
Celeroth Calatare: Bosmer <insert role here> - Shapeshifting Bosmer with enough sass to fill Valenwood

    PC - NA - EP - CP1000+
Avid RPer. Hit me up in-game @Ras_Lei if you're interested in getting together for some arr-pee shenanigans!

The game is designed to do that to you, MMOs are designed to be forever games. The fear of missing out wore off when I realized I´m logging on for mounts, styles pages and cosmetics I´ll never use, and new sets that matter little except for top tier endgame. Horizontal progression for over 5 years is a factor too, the gear cap is still "Veteran Rank 16".

If you have a community of players to enjoy the game with you have more of a reason to log on, but most players I have played with have quit over the years.

Getting married to someone who games with me is probably the main factor of me losing appeal in this game, amongst players that used to play with me, just getting married or getting a job made them leave the game.

Normally it would be the same for me but as I am ill I am often bedbound for longer periods. When I was healthier I spend my days training dogs and horses and I am a vetnurse so my days were full. The more ill I got the more I lost. Still on good days I am outside with my dogs but yeah the game became important to me over the years.
