Plaguebreak & Acid Spray/Bombard

The Plague Carrier DoT does not proc from Acid Spray/Bombard direct damage.

Fixed in the Lost Depths update.

    Sorry for the necro, but I second this, still isn't working. Bombard and Acid Spray (initial hit) are definitely direct damage.

    It works okay on my build but a bit weird. Procs with Bombard, a counter shows 10s but then it vanishes.
    A second later Plague Carrier procs again on Biting Jabs, and correctly counting from 10s to 9s....

    They changed Plaguebreak & how it interacts with AoE in Lost Depths update, it now procs on Bombard/Acid Spray (sorry, I should've probably edited this post - just kinda forgot it existed).

    It can however only proc on one target at a time (notable exception to this is Jabs/Sweeps, which applies it to a different target on each tick).


    What happens in your video is that you apply the Plaguebreak on the first target, but your camera switches on the next one (this is when it "vanishes") and you don't see a DoT on that because Acid Spray applies it to one at a time only.


    Here's the Lost Depths update patch note:
    Plaguebreak:
    This set now has a cooldown of 20 seconds per target, rather than only against targets that do not already have the DoT on them.
    Reduced the Damage over Time by approximately 48%, but this damage can now Critically Strike as it does not have ingrained modifiers built into it.
    Increased the damage by explosion by approximately 3%.
    The damage from this set now always applies the Diseased status effect.
    Fixed an issue where this set was not proccing off some direct damage abilities.

    jabs is kind of unique case where its 3 separate direct dmg hits, while acid spray is only 1 direct hit (which is why jabs can apply it to multiple targets with 1 skill use)
