RESOLVED: Markarth - 'The Gray Council' Breadcrumb Quest/Gwendis - Lost quest

Hi there
I've been a noonah and because I didn't know what was going on when I returned to the game, I abondoned this quest, and now ofc, I can't pick it up again.
If I can, I'd love to follow the story properly rather than just porting to Markarth, so any advice gratefully received.
