Why no integrated coms with ESO?

Well if in-game voice chat were ever added to PC, it would be something that you could turn off if you didn’t want to use it. Wouldn’t that make everyone happy?

No thanks, we don't need that on PC. Which MMO has this option anyway? If you really need it you can play on the console version.

If it was off by default that would be okay. You can just turn it on if you wanted to use it, right?

It's on by default the first time just so you know it's there. You turn it off and it stays off until you turn it back on.

I have witnessed way too many edgelords in zone chat spewing racist, vulgar, disgusting things just for attention. Giving them a mouthpiece or an audience beyond those in zone chat would be pouring gasoline on a fire. Heck no.

Sorry but I absolutely do not get why more than 50% of you misses the point here.

Why would you be forced to use voice coms? Voice coms is not about some zone chat with vulgar/racist kids... xD Who would use such a thing as zone voice chat anyway?? Voice coms is for when you WANT to use it, not when you are FORCED.

It is for when you are in a PUG and need some basic communication. It can be a very useful tool if everyone agree to use it/nobody has a discord server ready. Instead of thinking about yourself only (though it would never bother you if you would turn it OFF, ever thought about that??), think about the people that would enjoy having it as an possiblity
