Pet Sorc with Maw of the Infernal

Hi there, need some help with a pet build for my girlfriend.
She have not played for a long time, and after they chenged so Maw of the Infernal (Monster Set) scale from weapon damage, its not doing so well on her pet build.

But she play for fun and no way to min/max, but like to do a few dungeons.

So is it still possible to make a Sorc Pet build that still uses Maw of the Infernal viable?
She insist to keep the moster helmet as she love that pet

Any good tips on to get that to work or build guides?

I still use the old heavy attack pet sorc build with Maw for VMA. Its Undaunted Infiltrator + Infallible Aether. There is also one with Noble Duelist + Undaunted Unweaver. They work pretty well in there. But I would never take them into group content

Better use of weapon skill to proc glyph, and one dark magic spell for the extra crit.

Crit focus pet build, that benefits both normal sorc pets and proc set pets. and she can heal also.

Mine was originally based on the Alcast single bar build and just morphed from there. There is new one by hack the minotaur. I haven't tried it, but a friend of mine likes it for VMA:

Pet sorcs have changed a ton in the last year so I don't know the newest and best setup for anything other than my solo build. I think pets now scale off of your crit stats, so you can use a set like Medusa and inflict more damage but at the cost of resources. I prefer more resources when doing solo stuff.

I use twilight for healing, the scamp for damage, unstable wall, crit surge, daedric prey, hardened ward, boundless storm, and ele drain/crystal frags depending on the content. Shooting star/greater storm atro for ultis. Again, its meant only for VMA. I don't even use this build in Vatershan

It works, not meta but fun.

My stamsorc runs two pets, maw, defiler, aegis caller, the storm atro ulti, a companion and the really big annoying horse pet. Looks more like a travelling circus. Also great in a duel as they can't figure out what to target 8)

Seriously, what difficulty are we talking about? Duoing base game dungeons in normal mode works with any reasonable build. @DarcyMardin and I both frequently use Maw of the Infernal when doing so.

The main argument against Maw of the Infernal for casual players is that it's irritating for a tank. If you're not playing with a real tank, the set is fine.

I use Maw of the Infernal on my templar, just for fun.Daedroths were so disturbing when I played the old Oblivion game, I still jump when my daedroth appears.

And if you are playing with a real tank they are used to it, and it's only in a couple of dungeons where you get lots of hostile daedroth it's a pain.

Then she should be able to get all of those sets, except IA. The other 3 are dungeon sets, from Arx (Undaunted Inflitrator), Blackheart Haven (Undaunted Unweaver), and Blessed Crucible (Noble Duelist). Pretty easy dungeons, especially on normal
