Backlash bug is back

Backlash is doing extremely high damage with little damage done to the target. I got hit multiple times for 10k+ backlashes by healing magplars in battlegrounds with them doing 2K-4K damage prior backlash.

No it's not. It can crit for 15k on a right build, yes.

It is. Templar doing 2k-4k dmg and backlash hitting for 10k is bugged.

Do you have a clip to prove this? Because otherwise you're just stating something without any real weight behind it

What's to clip here? Just quick maths dude.
A good templar can get 25k+ backlash tooltip easy.
Light armor, sharpened maces, balorgh - plenty of pen for it to hit for 12.5k.
Or stam - sharpened maul, pierce armor and a balorgh proc - 25k pen easy.
If the templar is built for crit (khajiit, race against time) it can explode for 17k no problemo.
If you insist for a clip I can make one tommorrow no problem.
Keep in mind - that skill can hit 80k in pve, why shouldn't it be able to hit 10k+ in pvp?

It's not that it is ignoring battle spirit. It's an old bug where the skill remembers built up damage from it's previous casts, resulting in it both ignoring its cap and reaching a much higher value without actually being built to that value during the current cast. There are multiple factors that cause this, but the main one is when the skill is recast before expiring.

Edit: to be clear, this was a bug about a year ago and was fixed. For some reason it has now returned.
