Dark convergence is totally 100% irrefutably undeniably without a doubt balanced.

There are so many things to counter this, it's been nerfed into the floor and people are still getting upset about it. The set is great!

Dark Convergence isn't the only thing ruining PvP though.

Four plus years of "We're working on it" makes the relatively little things like Dark Convergence break the camels back as the saying goes. There is no excuse for Dark Convergence though. They could fix that in 2 minutes if they wanted to. And if cyrodiil performance wasn't so chronically bad Dark Convergence could be dealt with much easier.

Procs were bad enough before this set was released, but none of them completely disrupted the flow of combat and the satisfaction one had when beating foes well beyond their own. Now battles end in an anti-climatic pull from a set that completely removes what skill remained in besting zergs/opponents. Many players quit over this set and it wasn't only due to it being used on them. Much of the thrill of ESO combat was figuring out how to handle situations where you were greatly outnumbered with enemies all over and how to move accordingly in an ever-changing environment. Now you can just throw a convergence down and create a black hole to mindlessly throw damage in. This set is a disgrace to what many of us came to love about the sheer chaos of ESO combat over the years.

I logged in the other night after months of being away and ran a few old friends. Pulling faction stacks to fight only us nearly everywhere we went, but there was little satisfaction in killing swarms of enemies in rotating convergence/harmony/ultimate dumps. I don't want to see my enemies displaced into an easy mode version of what used to be a real challenge and thrill to handle such numbers.

I know many old school/veteran players would say the same, but most gave up trying to get this set removed from the game and quit. With it being left in the game for several months and only nerfed, while keeping the pull mechanic around.. it seems that it's here to stay and what many of us loved about PvP in this game will not return. It's a shame.

Exactly. Whoever thought a free pull that doesn't have to be aimed was a good idea needs to find a different job because they should not be designing armor sets for ESO, that's for sure.

The free pull that doesn't even have to be aimed is a god mode mechanic. In Cyro lag it is often impossible to defend against in any fashion. You just get pulled, blow up, and hopefully have somewhere close to rez.

You really need to setup this set for a great kill count. I may have died 2-3 times out of the last 20+ times hit by DC, and those times I died was well done and deserved on my end. Die and learn, this is the way.
