We need a Known Issues list

We need a Known Issues page to track the known issues. I have seen Zenimax use a "Known Issues" tracker after an update, but this is required full time as we have many problems that are not related to a major update or have persisted for a long time. The Dev Tracker used here lacks clarity and is far from easy to find information.

What is a Known Issues page? It is a page that lists every known issue; It states when the page was last updated and the current status, listed below.
  • Investigating
  • Resolved for upcoming patch (date or patch number) Resolved items are removed after a specified time has elapsed.
  • Resolved in patch (date or patch number).
  • Mitigated (patch number or date) and what the status is for a full fix

A managed list like this is an excellent communication tool that clearly provides this important information. It is also easy to create and manage.

@ZOS_GinaBruno recently asked us to define communication. This defines one great way communication can be improved greatly.

True, but it would only be the issues that Zenimax actually acknowledges are issues.

Some rare glitch in a dungeon would not be on the list as it does not really need to be fixed since it is rare. Things like being stuck in combat in Cyrodiil or the delay executing a skill when our weapon is sheathed are probably good candidates for the list but would only appear if Zenimax was actually working on them.

Just some thoughts on that as I have seen many games that have had glitches out for years that were never fixed because they rarely happened even though they were very impactful.

I can understand why they don't as it means people can find ways to exploit the bugs forcing the devs to actually fix the problems sooner rather than later. Why fix something now when you can put it off for a few months to a few years?

What's the point they don't look at the bug reports, there are some still existing from several years ago

No company would post such information as they tend to try to patch such exploits before they are widely known. If they have become widely known they will warn players they will receive the ban hammer if they use such exploits or turn the problem feature off.

So this is not an issue.

The point is communication. As stated in the OP, @ZOS_GinaBruno asked us how to communicate and this would be extremely effective communication. Have a question about the status of an issue, it is in the Kown Issues List in a clear and easy to find manner.

I couldn't agree with this more, we need a known bugs list bad! I've submitted bug reports years ago that haven't been fixed and I have no way to know if they even read my bug report and know about it. Why should I take the time to report bugs if they seemingly aren't getting read? Communication in general is terrible tho so I doubt it would happen. If I order a pizza itll tell me Kevin put my pizza in the oven, we should expect the same service when it comes to bugs.

If they wanted to improve communication with the community a Known bugs list would be a great start! @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Kevin
