Friends and guildmates can't visit home while offline

Cominfordatoothbrush
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but what's happening doesn't seem to be the way it's explained in-game and here: https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/37506 so I'm assuming bug

The issue I'm having has to do with people trying to visit my primary residence.

How people are attempting to visit:
- right click on my name in the guild roster and/or in friends list and clicking travel to primary residence

What happens:
- if i'm online, they will successfully port to my house
- if i'm offline, they'll encounter a "character not found" error and won't be able to port

I've tested this with multiple friends who are both in the guild (which has visitor permissions for my primary residence) and on my friends list (who halso have visitor permissions) and the issue has been consistently recurring.

hi there @Cominfordatoothbrush , so i just TESTED this myself (with my guildmates) on PC/NA server and it seems to work just fine for us. ...hmm.... Couple questions for you:

    1. Have you tried right-click 'travel' to someone else's residence in your guild or perms list?
    2. Which server & platform are you on?
    3. Did this issue just start happening to you today?
    4. Have you tried completely exiting/closing the ESO game client yet (with all characters logged out) and then asking 1 of your guildmates to try again? Or did it just happen once and then you posted?
    5. Are you by chance running ESO with any 'game mods' or 'add-ons' ? And if so, which ones?
    .

    1. This works fine
    2. PC
    3. No; I've had guild mates complain about it several times over the past couple weeks
    4. OP states that it's a recurring issue and that it's specifically happening while I'm online
    5. I'm using addons, too many to list here, but I'll test with none of them active later

ANOTHER MAJOR ISSUE which this seems to be linked to, is that people cannot interact with my account in ANY way while I'm offline.
    - if you try to send me mail: "unknown player"... if you literally right click my name on your friends or guild list, click "send mail," and try to write to me this issue still occurs
    - if you try to send a friend request: "account not found"

*point 4 was supposed to say offline at the end, sorry typo

hmm ok so in that case ^ , it sounds to me like it's either something related to 1 of the mods/add-ons you have running....or....some obscure issue with only *your* specific Account.

Have you tried contacting ESO Support yet? Either using this general link --> https://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/home?region=US ....or maybe try PM'ing @ZOS_BillE directly , since they seem to post a lot over in the PC Tech forums area here--> https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/categories/pc-technical-support

Thanks, I'll try technical support instead - seems like that's where this should have gone
