I'm glad Ember isn't cute or adorable

I have the most petty complaint about Ember... I'd only just found a good look for my khajiit sorcerer, and I feel like Ember is going to steal my thunder. (unintended pun, but left in deliberately)

Ignore the text, the image is from a brief write up of a gimmicky fun build... but at least I can prove Ember is copying my look... Hhhmmmph.

So far I like your Khajiit better than Ember. Way too handsome to be a companion.

That's a great looking khajiit!

And yeah I like how Ember looks, with the slightly sinister vibe.

I never liked khajiit much until I tried making one myself when Elsweyr came out, and I was very pleasantly surprised how that cutesy anime face I saw everywhere wasn't their standard look at all.

I love her looks, and I think they made her more sharp and less cute because she's supposed to be a companion you can do criminal activities in the game with and not lose rapport, so it makes sense she would look more rough around the edges.

But I'm more interested in the one next to her, is she going to be a companion in the next chapter?

We'll see. I already have Sereyne and Ezabi (who of course isn't a houseguest, but it works out the same) as well as Arox and Peddler of Prizes.

@Chips_Ahoy They are both going to be the companions we get with the coming chapter.

I don't care about cute or adorable. I want a companion that is indifferent to my using the blade of woe, filching, and pretty much harvesting anything I come across while out and about. Bonus points if the companion does not give me "advice" during boss battles.

If you are okay with a pet instead of a companion, I think it already exists:

It's perfect! It has no morals, won't get in your way, never says anything, and it's just about as helpful as a companion in a fight!

ROFL.

Both Mirri and Bastien take exception to various game activities, and I would prefer a companion that helps out with a weapon as best they can, while not losing rapport while I am doing daily quests (Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood) or accidentally killing a torchbug or butterfly.
