Why are loading screens are getting worse in more recent zones?

Title.
Zones after elsewyr, starting with skyrim, have loading screens on even small things like opening doors to go inside a building. Not to mention solitude is a completely different instance than rest of the zone. And that seems to be what they are doing with all the new zones now. Look at deadlands where the tiny fargrave is split into 2 parts. At least let me skip that goddanged door open animation and run freely. This always bothered me but it is just not getting better.

They keep designing towns that are super complicated on the outside but which can't truly contain the interior of buildings.

The load screens are basically you being teleported to where the interior really is.

On older zones, especially base game, the insides of buildings were often ... inside the buildings. Using the door was just a matter of the 'fade to black' transition instead of loading the character somewhere else.

Fargrave isn’t very big though, and only has about a dozen buildings you can actually go inside, with only a handful of interactable containers inside.

Compare to Wrothgar - Orsinium has many buildings and all of them have interiors, and many lootable containers inside.

The zones are getting less complicated but more loading screens.

I hate loading screens with sheer passion.

Said that, when I've fired up ESO on my rig (that is used for rendering), they were almost non-existant. They're not too bad on XBOX S so, this is likely dependent, unfortunately, on the machine used.

Btw, I still prefer to do my stuff in older zones for that exact reason, even if I was over-excited when Solitude came out and wanted to move there. For the same reason, when someone proposes to update the old zones I'm like: NO, thank you.

The same problem happens in houses, too. There are several houses I would like to own but don't because there are way too many doors with loading screens inside them.

I literally only go to vardenfell to do writs for this exact reason. Because i dont have to deal with doors.
