Game/Console performance while streaming.

I've noticed that my game/console has a significant drop in performance or gains more desync/delay when using Twitch.

I've dropped the bitrate and the res. Is there a different app that works better? For a moment I thought it was because I was still on old gen and the game does seem to bog down the old consoles quite a bit.

Any suggestions? Or, "it is what it is"?

400 internet, Xbox Series X.

Remember when streaming on twitch they have limits on what settings you need or should be running what OBS are u running or are ubstreaming directly off the Xbox to twitch? If that's the case than make sure your plugged directly into your ISP and turn off wifi or make sure no one is connected to it have no other software or anything running other than your Xbox

Did some googling last night. I think you've nailed my problem.

I was literally just using twitch on the xbox as well. Then the GF is playing on hers, the kids are all doin their thing etc. etc. So that's clearly my problem.

I've seen a lot of your vids/streams. Can you advise on the following?:

From what i've managed to get time to read, you're looking to mirror your xbox onto your phone or laptop/pc and then stream from that?

Is there an "OBS" or app for this you would suggest? Do you suggest I do it through a PC or will the ol' iphone work just fine?

I'm not very savvy on all this stuff.
