Account-wide Achievements vs leveling up Antiquity skill line (and more)

The PTS notes for update 33 indicate that achievements will be account-wide (per-server), with some exclusions (skyshards etc.) and some adjustments to how Undaunted skill line progress is gained, etc. However, I have not seen anything yet on a few other situations where achievements make a difference on additional characters:
  1. Leveling up the Antiquity skill line on additional characters (to gain the treasure chest keen eye perk, if nothing else) - this is boosted by certain achievements along the way, e.g. successfully scrying/excavating 3/30/100 antiquities, gaining 5/50/150 leads, or finding 5/50/150 additional bonus items along with the main dig treasure.
  2. Leveling up Companion rapport on additional characters (I THINK that some achievements help to improve rapport, not certain, e.g. doing several different types of activities for the "Seasoned friendship" and "Companion compatibility" achieves). At minimum, does it make sense to have the "Brother in Arms" or "Treasured Comrade" achievements (which require summoning Bastian/Mirri at max rapport level) on a second character which has NOT yet achieved max rapport with that companion?
  3. Cadwell's Silver/Gold, which rewards you with the soul-shriven motif if nothing else (from Cadwell's Silver) - is this going to be excluded? (If you have the achievements associated with each of the main quest steps in the pertinent zones, do you have to still do the quests for each zone for Cadwell's silver/gold on a second/nth toon?)
  4. (Addition as per @Jim_Pipp below): how to track progress towards completing the CWC Precursor target/combat dummy collectible parts on a second/nth toon, if you already have the achievement?)

Did I miss something in the PTS notes, or is this an oversight that ZoS has not considered yet? Are there any other game mechanics that also currently rely on achievements for progress, other than those ZoS listed in the PTS notes?

I also think that achievements for completing dungeons need to be considered carefully, because of the first-time (quest) completion skill point. It gets really tough to track which dungeons have been completed on a new character already, even without shared achievements, especially for the dungeons in which there are two versions in the same location (e.g. FG1 and FG2).

The PTS notes are somewhat inaccurate on the exclusions compared to PTS itself and some are clearly very broken at this point (most of the collect all the pieces DLC achievements for music boxes and the like for example now can't be done per toon)

    At this point
    - Skill levelling is not account wide (except Champion Point gain as they already are)
    - Companions do not appear to have changed from U32
    - Not had time to check Cadwell's silver/gold but it's the kind of thing that shouldn't be

Tracking what you've done is a mess on PTS because the account wide achievements replace instead of adding to the per character one.

Antiquities is already weird because the purple drops don't happen the second time making scrying even more horribly grindy and crap the second time around. I get why but it's still fairly sucky. There are a few other existing weirdnesses like this such as the Dragonhold daily chest.

Too many toons not enough time

achievements do not help companion rapport, you do get a large bonus for doing the companions quests though

personally i see no point in working rapport unless you want to do the quests again, once you have the keepsakes (permanent passives provided from companions after doing their combined achievement)

once the acct wide achievements come, rapport will be pointless outside of the quests if you have already max level rapport on 1 toon

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

It's been a while, but isn't the Soul Shriven motif the quest reward? There's no achievement that gives you an actual item as a reward. It's all dyes or cosmetics.

Zos please acknowledge you are aware of this (it's mentioned but buried in the official thread).

Some achievements are linked to rewards we want to earn on multiple characters, and the current achievement system helps to guide the mission as well as measuring individual's progress. Please don't ruin this.

One good example is the Precursor Target Dummy you can earn in clockwork city. To see if a character has already warned it you check their achievement "Precursor Maker", and you keep checking that achievement to see which pieces you need.
#1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

I leveled all my alts to 7 by getting the purple furnishing antiquities and the Void Crystal Anomalies. It wasn't that hard.

Run around the Hollow City in Coldharbour, harvesting plant nodes. You should wind up with a gold lead before long. I don't like messing with them myself, always too many people who get pissy if you "interfere with their route" - so I go outside the city, and still get a lead about the third node of whatever sort.
