Reminder: The original Jakarn quests are fun and very easy

Agree, he was mildly amusing before, in the prologue I found him insufferable.

i've never actually met men like Jakarn guy. Men so obsessed with their faces, unironically? Men that mention their most handsome mugs in every conversation? Can't actually remember such characters in any other media.. Could this be ..ZOS thing? Razum'dar is just the same.
Anyway, i dont trust these types, i dont like thems, i'd much rather avoid thems

His behavior is exaggerated in the prologue, I did not like him, his entire act felt forced. He was talking about the elf mage like she was his true love when in fact they only met twice. Besides, the elf mage was totally dull, so one more reason not to feel anything about Jakarn's quest.

Don't get me wrong, I liked Jakarn and his crew from Stros, and have nice memories with those quests because this is how I started to play ESO in the beta. But this prologue iteration is worse than Elsweyr.

But you have a point. Walks-Softly in the Thieves Guild is another caricature of perhaps self-mocking vanity.

Rigurt is implausible in other ways, although I image we could find plenty of farce (or just comic relief) characters to compare him to.

Feedback on the PTS (including this one) suggested that they dial down Jakarn’s dialogue. They didn’t.

So we have this super creepy new Jakarn.
