Where do you think we will go next year in 2023?

Many folks were thinking this year was going to be Redguards and Hammerfell. The fact is it is not, its quite obvious why that is. Many Skyrim Npcs bring up Hammerfell in TES 5, and the way their dialogue is, hints towards points towards Hammerfell, so Bethesda likely alraedy choosen the location as they were making TES 5. Its just so obvious that TES 6 is Hammerfell that I consider it a fact at this point even though some might say its just speculation, I personally believe we won't be seeing Hammerfell next year in ESO as a result of it being TES 6's location. So on that note, the poll includes options of the most likely locations we could possibly see next year.

Which one do you think it is? Hammerfell is at the very bottom of the list but as a maybe because its very unlikely until Bethesda releases TES 6 that we will get to see more of it. Any more Hammerfell zones are very unlikely to ever happen until TES 6 releases. That I think is a good thing because then they can align the two together and maybe do some type of tie in with it. Which I suspect is Zenimax's plan so they can do that cross over with it.
I think it will be either Eastern Morrowind, or Skyrim as the most likely, with the rest of Cyrodiil being another possibility, and then more of Black Marsh as one other possibility.

Anything Bosmer related. This year's chapter shows that they focus more on fleshing out the tes races more than filling each small hole on the mainland map.

Or we go directly to Colovia.

It is possible that we will go after that to Telvanni Peninsula, Pyandonea, Tenmar, Skyrim, Nibenay.

At this point I’m not sure it matters. Clearly we need to see what lands on the PTS, but based on last night’s Twitch stream, I’m unlikely to be playing by 2023.

Chapters used to be the big event. New skills, new classes, whole new crafting lines, new level caps, new mats, new guilds…… you name it. Expansive land areas, expansive quest lines, real variety.

Well, they’ve been going down hill rapidly since Summerset. Last year’s offering was distinctly mediocre and I’m being polite. The leading new feature for this year is a card game that, as far as I can tell, was on no-one’s wish list. Oh, and a decon assistant that seems to me to be as pointless as the card game.

Might as well go to the lost city of Atlantis. That would make more sense than this does. Maybe I need a New World to play

After last year and now this reveal I don't even feel any desire to speculate.
I really hope they listen to everyone and completely surprise us some how, but not getting my hopes up.

If they can fix the PvP lag and problems over 2022 (or hide them behind modern big machines I don't care which) then it would be nice to see 2023 revisit cyrodiil.

If they can't fix all the PvP lag and mess in 2022 then perhaps they should also revisit cyrodiil by admitting defeat and ending the 3 banners war in 2023.

I'd also love to see the Shivering Isles properly revisited now they have the plaza of portals

I hope it doesn't go anywhere. I'd love to see them add to existing zones and guilds. Add more quests to the guilds. Give us a reason to adventure in the base zones again (apart from dailies and dolmens). Bring back familiar NPCs and give them their own quest lines (would love to adventure with Naryu and others again).

IOW, I'd like them to focus on the zones they already have. Focus on story quests, give us a new class, maybe a new weapon, etc. Story mode for dungeons. No need to go anywhere else. Add content to what's already there.

Lose the year-long story format. Release one meaty expansion, and/or add quest packs to the crown store that are inexpensive and add a quest line for an NPC, guild, or zone. I'd buy them in a heartbeat (ESO+ could get them as part of the subscription, making it more attractive, or can buy them at a much reduced price).

I don't PvP, but put resources into fixing whatever's broken there, too.

I'm calling it now Valenwood. It is a big empty canvas, and Home to the wood elf which would be prime for a big Tree Hugger lecture from the devs, the new drinking game will be whenever a NPC says "Godess" you drink (Sorta like "Little Mortal in the current chapter) My second Choice will be the new Revamped PVE Cyrodil since the Three Banners war is ending.

Yeah no offense, but it's nothing like summerset or elseweyr. The selling points are lacking compared to price.
