Please give dates in advance for events

As an officer in a guild who likes to host events every week and plan big fishing & thieving tournaments, it would be helpful to have more advanced notice for the dates of Eso in game events. That way we can plan special events that work in that theme and not plan a thieving tournament during Whitstrake's Mayhem for instance. Thank you.

We don't have the dates yet, but here's the next couple events: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/595968/q1-in-game-events-2022-january-through-march

And the Anniversary Event will almost certainly be early April like always.

Yes that's better than nothing, but with one event (at least) each month it's still impossible to schedule in advance long term events. If we do a full weekend of fishing but then the PvP event is two weeks later than the year before we've overlapped. This has happened multiple times in the past since we have big guild events that last for a week or two each quarter.

I do hear you on that. This is one thing that WoW nailed perfectly: their calendar. You can see clearly the date and time everything starts and stops, and plan accordingly.

It isn't rocket science; it's just a calendar. It would be nice to see something similar here.

I agree, this would be really helpful.

They did very briefly get better, if I remember correctly sometime last year there was a list of events with approximate dates on the main website, then an updated one was shown in the background during a livestream, then they seem to have forgotten about the idea again and went back to announcing them just a few days before.

I agree it would be helpful to know about events in advance so we can plan our time in-game accordingly. Especially for guild leaders and others who may want to organise group events.

This would be nice, especially for MYM. I would actually take some vacation time for that one, but we never seem to know far enough in advance.

I personnaly dont ask for exact date. I would be happy to have approximation

For exemple, for the current deadric war event, they could have said
    Deadric war celebration
    Expected mid to late january

This could have been updated to expected mid january as we got closer

This would have the benifit to help us narrow out when the event will start while also letting zos do a last minute date change if needed

The main problem of stating exact dates too far in advance is, sometimes "Stuff Happens", and when the event date is postponed, some people tend to get toxic and accuse ZoS of lying, etc.
I have seen lots of times since launch that a date was announced and then pushed back and the the responses were less than nice.
Just my 2 drakes. My advise? Patience.
