Has anyone used Starlink with ESO?

[Snip] I would like to ask this same question, as my wife and I will be retiring fairly soon. Since gaming is a big part of our life, and we would prefer to move to a somewhat rural area that probably won't have gigabit Internet, this service seems intriguing. Anyone have experience with it, how badly does weather affect it, and do you actually get fairly low latency?

Thanks in advance!

A friend in one of my guilds tested it out (from NZ)

ping of 278 in game (slower than normal NZ speeds) but stable and playable

Ahh, that's pretty high ping, but not that bad I guess, since I hover around 140ms in California on a high speed fiber connection.

"normal" nz ping is about 180 / 200, so we're already pushing stuff up hill from this side of the world.

Considering a straight line, single trip around the world in a perfect fiber optic cable (which doesn't exist by the very definition) is about 140 ms, a 2 way trip that goes halfway around and back at 200 is pretty good I'd say.
