Corrosive Armor. A morph that feels very out of place.

Corrosive Armor:

A great skill that is amazing in PVP.
But why does it deal Poison Damage when the skill line is called Earthen Heart?

Would it not be better to change its texture to fit with the line thematically. Not suggesting a change of function, just a change of appearance.

Maybe, something like Igneous Armor, Diamond Armor, Sharpened Rock or something that fits with the Earth like theme.
It’s just a little thing that bugs me. Lol.

Cohesion is a massive problem for the entire combat system. Themes and lore included. I'm surprised this skill of all of them is the standout for you, but I guess we all have our individual grievances.

Makes sense since it's a poison shell spell much in the same way as Magma Armor is a flame shell spell. It does fit with lore very well and is one of the few things I'd go to say is lore friendly. And as Merlin said there is no acid damage, but in Morrowind poison was described as acidic on the damage type. In Oblivion those acid spells moved to Corrode Weapon/Armor magic.

Edit: And you see this corrosive effect in ESO as Noxious Breath reduces armor, Venomous Claw deals more damage as it burns through an enemy, and Corrosive Armor straight up burns the armor away of people in contact with you which is why it has 100% armor penetration.

Yeah, but I just think there is room to improve it. I wonder if people would accept some kind of ‘Stone Form’. Perhaps the other morph could use some kind of rework.

I'll take a buff sure, what's out of place is StamDKs running Spell Wall. I love everything about Corrosive with all my Orcish heart.

To be honest I think Ash Cloud deserves a Stam morph. Could combine the current morphs into one to make room. Buff for both.

That would be cool, but I'd prefer Inhale if I had the choice. It's probably the best skill to elevate StamDK to StamDen and StamCro when it comes to combining AoE with Spin 2 Win, which is definitely the strongest thing going for Stam in BGs right now. Outside of that combination these 3 classes seem generally balanced right now, to me.

Not sure I agree with them being balanced. StamDK is at the bottom of the pile for DPS in pve. This is why I chose Ash Cloud as it gives them what they need to bump up their damage over a longer encounter.

@Iriidius Those were set some time ago on EU #2 to get the balance of stats based on the gear I mained and the playstyle/experience pre CP 2.0.

I honestly haven't updated them for some time, thus the 500 or so over armor cap too.
