i agree with you completely, the fact that there's zero incentive to res/take a res in almost any situation is really disheartening and i think it discourages team mentality as well as encouraging folks to consider someone who dies early on in a match as a useless player
I kinda disagree. I think the balancing trade-off is in the fact that you can either pop up alongside your teammates OR you can pop up with resources but have to reunite.
In bgs reviving just isn’t as useful (or wise,) as other places. The map isn’t very big thus the penalty for not getting revived isn’t very big either.
The problem you describe is basically that sometimes when you get rezzed midfight the enemies see the low health target and just immediately obliterate him again right?
Let’s take it a step further and note that if you just lost 1 team member now you are potentially in a 4v4v3. That’s pretty bad. But now one guy decides to rez…. So you’re in a 4v4v2. Not a wise tactical decision.
The only right time to Rez in a bg is when you WON a big fight but lost one man. And since all the enemies are dead who cares how much resources you get revived having?
@OBJnoob that's very rarely an issue to reunite after the fight is over. And you won't res mid teamfight anyway.
The issue is that I won't accept res even if my 3 players wiped everyone. Wait time to fill my resources is higher than moving back to the team from the base.
Exactly though… reuniting isn’t hard. So. Half point for my side right?
As to your resources coming back relatively slowly (if you don’t mind me saying,) I think that’s more your build than a universal problem. I run pretty low resource pools lately (for no particular reason… just do,) with high recovery and I tend to have tripots handy so… I guess I can’t really speak to your exact problem. Half point for you, lol.
Only thing I’ll say further is that the strength of the necro ulti revive and the kagrenac armor set and stuff like that will become stronger. I just… I don’t know, I guess I never considered it much til now.
