Did the patch today have anything to datamine?

Title. We’re a week before the official announcement. Usually at this time they already deployed a patch that contains the new Chapter advertisement they’re going to have right after the announcement as that was datamined in the past.

So I ask you datamining experts: did the patch files today contain this information?

No patch, just loaded the Patcher, I mean Launcher. No updates.

It was just maintenance, like PC's was a week ago.

[Someone indicated a while back that they were under the impression that ZOS wasn't real happy with datamining; maybe they're not patching until after the 27th?]

But they weren’t happy in the past either and the dataminers still leaked the chapter descriptions?

I mean it’s just one more week, but I am CRAVING information.

Well, good luck then. I'm perfectly happy to be surprised - or not *shrug*. In a couple days we'll have info up if there's a patch next week.

Whilst I am sure ZOS wants to keep everything under wraps as much as possible if they wish to update the in- game crown store with the chapter image/ test. This screen below


Which they have typically always done during the event announcement they will need to patch the game the morning of the announcement, which they have previously done so most if not all previous chapters header images were datamined hours before the stream and if they wish to update the text to say
"Discover [New Zone Name]" they will need to do that with a client update which needs to happen before the reveal.

They could (and often have) pushed updates to consoles with things like text changes/ new images before the PC patch. This happened last year as console players could see the help text for the Unstable Morpolith ahead of the chapter reveal/ PC datamine.

Most datamines hit after patches go onto PTS, and we haven't even gotten a preview of the next big update yet. Every so often there might be a tidbit in an incremental, but we also haven't had one of those in a while. It seems like everything is going to wait for the announcement on the 27th.

Considering the announcement is on a Thursday, I'd expect the PTS will be up with the Q1 DLC by the following Monday, assuming the patch cadence is still the same. Again, we'll find out a lot more next week.

I'm craving also, been searching the internet for any tips, clues or tidbits and there's nothing I can find. At the time of this post, we have 170 hours and 41 minutes till the reveal (East Coast).

Why does it matter if ZOS is happy about this or not? As long as it's not forbidden I don't see any problems here. I'm sure ZOS is not happy with a lot of "legal" things players do either.
