Microsoft, Blizzard and antitrust

Microsoft has announced plans to acquire Activision/Blizzard. That has the potential to bring ESO under the same corporate ownership as WoW and Call of Duty.

It also has the potential to get ZoS divested from Microsoft.

The deal could also fall through altogether.

We're unlikely to get any news or even reliable rumors as to which way the wind is blowing for numerous months.

I think it is great that players are searching news articles to see what is developing with such a major announcement, but I do not think ESO forums are a great place to discuss such a matter. It seems a little off-topic.

Too early to know anything tbh. These types of acquisitions evolve a lot during transition and many articles out now are totally speculative.
