Well, it's obviously so you gotta buy the mundus stones that go in your house! Can't have you getting these player-friendly mechanics for free, can we?

Seriously though, yeah I wish they'd do the actual player friendly thing here as per your suggestion, but then again they make you buy extra outfit save slots individually for every character, so it's unlikely...

The fact that you can remove and add Vamp and WW but it won't save Mundus really is strange imo.

Stands-Against-Death: Argonian Magplar Healer - Crafter
Krisiel: Redguard Stamsorc DPS - Literally crazy Werewolf, no like legit insane. She nuts
Kiju Veran: Khajiit Stamblade DPS - Ex-Fighters Guild Suthay who likes to punch things, nicknamed Tinykat
Niralae Elsinal: Altmer Stamsorc DPS - Young Altmer with way too much Magicka
Sarah Lacroix: Breton Magsorc DPS - Fledgling Vampire who drinks too much water
Slondor: Nord Tankblade - TESified verson of Slenderman
Marius Vastino: Imperial <insert role here> - Sarah's apathetic sire who likes to monologue
Delthor Rellenar: Dunmer Magknight DPS - Sarah's ex who's a certified psychopath
Lirawyn Calatare: Altmer Magplar Healer - Traveling performer and bard who's 101% vanilla bean
Gondryn Beldeau: Breton Tankplar - Sarah's Mages Guild mentor and certified badass old person
Gwendolyn Jenelle: Breton Magplar Healer - Friendly healer with a coffee addiction
Soliril Larethian- Altmer Magblade DPS - Blind alchemist who uses animals to see and brews plagues in his spare time
Tevril Rallenar: Dunmer Stamcro DPS - Delthor's "special" younger brother who raises small animals as friends

They wanted to, but it wasn't working properly. They decided to release it without it so they could release something.

I bet it has to do with the fact that Mundus is coded as a buff similar to food - it shows up on your character screen as 'active effects.' While Armory can swap all of the gear easily (and the buffs associated with gear), it doesn't swap out buffs themselves. After all, if I have one build with Bewitched Sugar Skulls food and the other with Artaeum Takeaway Broth, changing the build won't magically change my food buff either. I still have to eat the other food as well. We've also seen that they have issues with Mundus being remembered as well, as anyone who wants to wear the Twice-Born Star set on weapons knows.

I would hope that they can eventually fix the coding of the Mundus to make it a character thing so it'll work since I did end up doing a vMA the other day with the wrong Mundus because I forgot. But I don't think this is something mustache-twirlingly devious they did. They said what the problem was, and it makes sense because a Mundus boon is coded like a permanent food buff and not like a skill.

I might need to start a new thread or be pointed to a link but can anyone call out what the Armourer CAN and CANT do / save?

I used to say I'd buy this in a flash but the years without it as a capability (on console) I made other toons for PvE etc

Still feels it could be handy for CP / NoCP gear swapping.

But only if it saves enough stuff - sets, skills, CP etc

Lastly capability wise is it the same as Armourer station so you can buy either or? As I guess you don't need the station if you have the dude. You can place him in home?

    Armory saves:
    • Equipped gear, including poisons
    • Equipped AND unequipped skills and morphs
    • Purchased passive skills
    • Equipped AND unequipped CP stars and passives
    • Ability points (mag/health/stam)
    • Quickslot setup
    • Curse status (uncursed/werewolf/vampire)
    • Chosen outfit

    Armory does NOT save:
    • Mundus boon
    • Current food/drink buff
    • Disguises (may prevent you from saving a build)
The Armory also DOES NOT store any items. You must have all gear and items on your person to swap it. The Armory DOES highlight anything in red that you aren't carrying and also tells you where it is if you hover over it. I like to have all of my gear for one build in a storage coffer right next to the station so I know where it is, but it'll let you swap as long as you have the gear on you.

You also CAN NOT use the Armory assistant in a PvP zone or in an active leaderboard area (vet trials, etc.). I would hope they eventually plan to place an Armory in the Cyro basecamps, but that hasn't been done yet.

Hi @tomofhyrule thank you that's an ace help.

I'm torn, as wanted this so bad but have worked around it to a Degree.

    Appreciated

The base Armory is free and you get two slots for it. I haven't bought anything extra for it myself. I keep the station in one of my houses (it even fits in the free inn rooms) and have a storage coffer next to it to save the gear I use for my alternate build, and it lets me swap between my default tank build and then a DPS build I use specifically for doing solo arenas.

The purchases give you the ability to access the Armory from anywhere with the assistant (except leaderboard things and PvP) as long as you have the gear on you, and also to get more than two slots, but you can still use it without spending any money.

Note that the armory station you place in your house is free in the crown store. You just need to grab it.

I don't have a personal house as we have very decent guild house, I do use the assistant which is very hand for swapping majority if the time, however if I do vet stuff it is a pain to have to go and swap mundus especially as I paid for the armoury dude

Is the mundus going to be added to the Armourer in the next update?
If ZoS want to sell mundus stones, make owning one a prerequisite for having it stored in the armoury.
As it is, the Armourer is very half baked without the mundus. I’d have bought tank, healer, pvp and pve slots but no real use without mundus.

I hope that they get the issue with the mundus resolved at some point. Maybe we know more on monday when we get PTS notes.

I don’t see what stops them implementing mundus stones in the Armourer. If they can’t load the mundus in with the gear and cp perhaps they can make an option to load your owned mundus stones into the Armourer and then you can equip them separately, which would call what ever code runs when you use the mundus stone in a house or the wild.
