Another Theory on the New Chapter

I just love these teasers so after watching this last one for about a hundred times, I’m asking myself what would bring three warring alliances together and travel to the same destination? Maybe it’s someone who possess an equal threat to all three alliances?

I’m convinced the antagonist is a female, can’t change my mind on this one.

So, I start digging through ESO lore and found some interesting facts. To start off with, prior to the Three Banners War, we know Emperor Leovic was dispatched by Varen Aquilarios, who was insecure about not being a true Dragonborn, so with the help of Mannimarco and the Five Companions, Varen Aquilarios acquires the Amulet of Kings, which causes a Soulburst. Varen disappeared as a result of that and his wife Clivia Tharn assumes the throne as Empress Regent and ruled the Empire of Cyrodiil for three years, until Molag Bal initiated the Planemeld and overran the White-Gold Tower.

When the Planemeld was initiated, it was assumed she was killed by the Dark Anchors. With her missing and the Empire falling apart, we have the Three Banners War.

Going back before Molag Bal’s Planemeld, Abnur Tharn had plans to for Clivia first child to inherit the Ruby Throne, but she disappeared before the Planemeld.

Written in lore, there’s some text between Clivia and Euraxia “When she was 7-years-old, Clivia played a game of Imperial War-Chess with her younger relative Euraxia and played an illegal move. Outraged, Euraxia taunted her by saying that she would one day be queen of Rimmen, but Clivia remained unimpressed, stating she would be the Empress”.

This is purely speculation on my part but I’m thinking the three warring ships are headed to (possibly) High Isle to confront either Clivia herself or her first child, who is assuming sovereign ruler over all of Tamriel as Empress and the three alliances are going to confront this person.

Looking forward to January 27th to find out what will be happening this year. Cheers!

Give me another Tharn to kill, I'm all for it.

"'Never love a wild thing, Mr. Bell,' Holly advised him. 'That was Doc's mistake. He was always lugging home wild things. [...] You can't give your heart to a wild thing: the more you do, the stronger they'll get. Until they're strong enough to run into the woods. Or fly into a tree. Then a taller tree. Then the sky. That's how you'll end up, Mr. Bell. If you let yourself love a wild thing. You'll end up looking at the sky.'" -- Truman Capote, Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Tharnmageddon - So many Tharns going extinct near the end of the 2nd Era. Something has to be done to stop their dwindling numbers in the wild before they're all gone.

Be funny if the player is Emperor though, you can even tell Molag Kena who is posing as her that she cannot be the Empress if your the Emperor.

The Tharn family will be fine... They do have to live long enough to produce Jagnar Tharn for "The Elder Scrolls: Arena", right?
